The project “Open Digital Skills / Play – Create – Learn / Kidedu” is implemented by the Research Centre of the University of Piraeus. The aim is to introduce children from 6 to 12 years old to two thematic units, “Planet Earth” and “Arithmetic of Everyday Life” and to introduce children aged 4-8 years old to issues related to health and safety in their everyday life, through the development of an online game and an online platform respectively. . During the game, children are faced with dilemmas and learning processes, so that the education can be done with innovative teaching and learning methods through the development of virtual reality field experiences. Thus, teaching takes the form of a game, children formulate their opinions and participate in designs, while their research mood is stimulated and learning becomes a field of action and joy.
